What is an Operating Partner exactly?
Most investment funds are great at dealmaking, but lack the time and expertise to really help management work through their challenges on a daily basis. Operating Partners are experienced professionals who have been through the journey and now help the next generation of companies. In practice, this means that sometimes we merely act as a coach or advisor and in other cases we step in nearly full-time to help out.

Are you just consulting or do you have skin in the game?
Yes, we put our own money on the table to co-invest along side great PE funds into the portfolio companies we work with. Before investing we do start each project with temporary consulting / interim phase to test the water for both sides.

Do you know my specific industry?
We have a beta background and worked for many niche technical sectors ranging from imprint lithography to Voice-over-IP, from autonomous vehicles to cyber security, from sludge gasification to online marketplaces. Most likely we do not know your specific niche exactly, but we have the background to get up to speed in record pace.
