Most investment funds are great at dealmaking, but lack the time and expertise to really help management work through their challenges. That is why most funds work with Operating Partners: experienced professionals who have been through the journey and now help the next generation of companies. In practice, this means that sometimes we merely act as a coach or advisor and in other cases we step in nearly full-time to help out.

Absolutely, we see this dynamic very often. Our founder Matti van der Gronde, has worked on both sides of the table (management & PE) and knows how to translate between both worlds. We help to translate your thoughts into an investment story. And vice versa we help investment funds to translate their questions/demands into a practical plan that management can actually deliver on while also managing the day-to-day.

We have a beta background and worked for many niche technical sectors ranging from imprint lithography to Voice-over-IP, from autonomous vehicles to cyber security, from sludge gasification to online marketplaces.
